Classes with mathematical text and LaTeX
Read these lessons in order. At the end of each one, a link takes you to the corresponding chapter of the interactive book, with complete demonstrations and exercises.
- Arcs, chords, rays and angles
- Angle measurement in degrees, minutes and seconds
- Inscribed polygons and the sine of a central half angle
- Demonstrations of the values of 30, 45 and 60 degrees
- Pythagoras, height and projections in the right triangle
- Trigonometric ratios and solving right triangles

Interactive book
Chapters I, V and IX of the interactive Trigonometry book belong to this track. Each one brings the theory with all the demonstrations, interactive figures and the complete list of exercises, with resolution or answer:
- I. Arcs and angles — exercises 1 to 22;
- v. Notable arcs — exercises 126 to 130;
- IX. Right triangles — exercises 321 to 359.
The entrance exam tests on triangles serve as a review of chapter IX.
From angle to triangle
In Fundamental II, the drawings give way to measurements and relationships between sides. Start with class on angles as turns if you need to remember the idea of angle.
Study guide
- 6th and 7th years: explore degrees, turns and arcs in chapter 1. In this chapter, leave radians and cycle coordinates for the High School stage.
- 8th and 9th years: investigate triangles and angles of $30°$, $45°$ and $60°$ in chapter 5.
- 9th year: study Pythagoras and the first trigonometric ratios in chapter 9. Demonstrations and relations metrics can be resumed with more algebra in high school.
Study in order and draw each situation. If a demo uses a tool you haven’t yet know, understand the geometric example first and come back to the proof later.
